Challenge sportif de 32 épreuves d’adresse, de force et d’équilibre, Chaturanga a mis en compétition 98 équipes à Tournai, du 30 mai à ce vendredi 2 juin. Sauts, tirs et lancers de grenade figurent au programme de cette course contre la montre.
À l’origine, « Chaturanga » est un terme militaire indien qui désignait la formation d’une armée en quatre composantes : éléphant, cavalier, char et fantassin. Mais depuis 1985, il s’agit aussi d’un challenge sportif militaire qui se déroule à Tournai. Cliquez sur les photos pour les agrandir :
